Some problems we can't see directly on the surface of our cell phones, so it's confused that the phone screen suddenly gets dark, speak has no voice, no signal, etc. For all kinds of these faults, how to quickly find the damaged parts? Obviously you need some testing tools to help. In this article, we will mainly introduce 2 tools to diagnose cell phone faults so that you can fix as soon as possible!

1. Multimeter Multimeter is an essential instrument for the maintenance of smartphones. It is mainly used to detect voltage values of the circuit, components and the resistance value of the parts to confirm the quality of components. The commonly used multimeter mainly has the pointer type multimeter and the digital multimeter. Multimeter is often used to check the resistance, voltage and current of the smartphone. In general, when you use a multimeter to measure voltage or current, you have to set the meter's range, and then make actual measurements. we will connect the positive socket with the red pen and the negative socket with the black pen. The following figure shows the appearance of the multimeter.

2. Oscilloscope Oscilloscope can be convenient, fast and accurate detect the key testing point of related information, and display in the oscilloscope screen with the form of waveform. Through observing the waveform of various signals, the maintenance personnel can judge the fault point and the range of the fault. This is also the most common and simple way to overhaul a smartphone.

Tips: When you use the oscilloscope, you can do this. First, switch on the oscilloscope and connected to the probe.

Then, the ground clamp of the oscilloscope is clipped on the shield of the smartphone chip.

Finally, The probe is positioned on the measured part, and the corresponding waveform can be displayed on the screen by adjusting the corresponding knob. Read more on www.vipfixphone.com
